Consulting and Permaculture Design

Greg does whole system farm and homestead design consulting with a focus on resiliency, landscape regeneration, and fulfilling a whole diet and lifestyle from the land. He can help you at any point in your land development project from deciding on the right piece of land to purchase to making good decisions when building from scratch on a piece of raw land to adding a new profitable enterprise to an existing farm.

Ask him about homesteading; gardening; plants; water management - from roof rain water catchment to swales, earthworks, ponds, and Keyline design; construction; green houses; livestock; management intensive rotational grazing; agroforestry; silvopasture; alleycropping; fodder trees and coppice; grass-fed raw-milk dairy; mushroom production; prepping; edible landscaping; foraging; forest and woodlot management; or even property survey questions!

Maybe you purchased an old homestead and want to make it function for you, maybe you have a small farm and want to diversify what you offer but don’t know where to start, maybe you have 100 acres of worn out pasture that you want to revitalize while at the same time increasing your stocking density and profit margin. Maybe you want help in planting a perennial deer plot with grafted persimmons, grafted thornless honeylocust, chestnuts, oaks, and mulberries. Maybe it’s all of the above!

Greg can come to your property and do a site walk with you discussing your goals and the potential on your property. Site visits are a minimum of two hours but often go much longer. Make sure to have a note pad! If you want, Greg can work up a multi-layered permaculture design overlayed on your basemap with notes.

Consulting and drafting time is $75/hour with a minimum of 2 hour site visit. Sites greater than a one hour drive from my home in Berkeley Springs, WV will incur an additional travel fee.
